Brand LifeStyle Tjori obtains investment in value Rs 16 Cr

Tjori Indian online fashion brand signs an equity deal of 16 crores with the media giant Hindustan Times.

Tjori started with the mere personal savings of Rs 10 lakh, is now a well-liked multi-category, an online-first artisanal ethnic brand that caters to 195 countries across the world.

Established in 2013, Tjori is dedicated to the vision of helping its consumers understand the sweetness of Indian handicrafts, their exquisite quality, majestic artwork, and therefore the extensive knowledge offered by their nature.

Inspired by the success tales of a number one brand like Zara, Tjori has based its specialize in handmade products and therefore the superiority of traditional Indian ingredients. Tjori includes apparel, accessories, bags, footwear, jewelry, Home & Décor, wellness, mother and child products.

The deal signed goes far away from equity investments while also providing marketing & branding. The establishment with Hindustan Times will help build brand awareness in India and accelerate growth at the global level.

The unique opportunity here may be platform access to HT shop where Tjori as a brand is going to be featured, to make exponential avenues for both the brands.

Commenting on the partnership deal, Mr. Piyush Gupta the CFO, of the Hindustan Times said “We are pleased to announce our partnership with Tjori because it helps us venture into the e-commerce market. The deal is sure to bring an ocean of data for all our readers, regarding the re-modernized way of traditional Indian goodness that Tjori strongly recommends and that we as allies also believe .”

Tjori may be a lifestyle e-commerce brand with the vision of bringing the traditional art and craft of India with a sight of overhaul into the worldwide market.
