Usually, vaccines take years to produce. But, when COVID-19 infected the masses, healthcare research worked at breakneck speed to make sure that the vaccine reached people in a little over a year.

Some people are still uncertain to take the vaccine. There are concerns over its potential & safety side effects.

Most of the companies took lead to vaccinate their workers. But some went a step further. To refresh the deal & make the country a little healthier, some companies have been offering freebies, gifts, & discounts as a bonus for people to get vaccinated.

If you’ve been jabbed, here are some brands that are trying to reward you for the same.

McDonald’s India

As part of its ongoing efforts to hold up the country’s vaccination drive,

McDonald’s India; East & North has started the -We Care- initiative. It is aimed at motivating McDonald’s consumers to join the fight for COVID and get themselves vaccinated.

The process is started through McDonald’s mobile application, which will offer special deals, like discounts on burgers, to the customers post their vaccination. McDonald’s customers can avail of the limited time offer by uploading their vaccination certificate on McDonald’s mobile app under the ‘Got Vaccinated’ tab, along with basic details.

Colorbar

The beauty brand has come up with the #CBCares initiative to spread social awareness about the COVID vaccination. It aims to increase participation in a nationwide awareness program, incentivizing all those who ‘#GotTheShot’.

boAt

The brand has an attractive surprise offer for those who received the COVID-19 vaccine. They can take advantage of a 25% discount offer on boAt products. People who accept this offer will also get a free mask from the brand.

Uber

Cab hailing applications’ contribution to the vaccination drive is to offer patrons free rides to & from vaccination centers.

The Beer Cafe

It is telling its customers that if  “you got the job, we got your tab.” The Beer Cafe gives its consumers a 10%  discount on their 1st jab & 20% on the 2nd jab.

“This is to gear vaccine hesitancy and gives gifts to the ones being vaccinated. We are telling our consumers that when there is beer, there should be no fear,” Rahul Singh the founder- The Beer Cafe, which owns more than 35 stores across the country, was quoted as saying by Economic Times.
