Jan 4, 2013: Idea Cellular launched three buffet plans for its post paid customers. This will help the subscribers to restrict their mobile bill but not compromise on their usage. Idea Buffet Plans promises to give its subscribers apart from convenience and flexibility, more value for money. The company has come out with three buffet plans from which the 
customers can select one according to their usage. The three plans on offer are 899 plan, 1299 plan and 1599 plan.
In 899 plan, Idea Subscribers can enjoy 4000 local and STD minutes. They can also avail 1000 roaming minutes and send 450 local and national SMS. In 1299 plan, the subscribers can enjoy the same facility like that of 899 plan, but in addition to that they will also get 5GB of 3G data free. 1599 plan has been introduced for the high voice and data users. For Rs. 1599, subscribers will get 10,000 local, STD and roaming minutes. They will also get 1000 local and national SMS and the highlight of this plan is that heavy data users will get 8GB of 3G data usage free.
