Camp K12 launches metaverse and AR/VR creation platform

Camp K12, an ed-tech centre that builds a global online school, has launched Hatch Kids, its Metaverse creative platform and AR / VR for young students.

Camp K12 that originally built the Hatch kids platform for its own use in programming courses, but after witnessing the demand from all potential customers they have open up the platform for any user free of cost, along with free AR/VR curriculum modules. Hatch Kids is a free online creative platform 3D for kids between 6 years old. – 18-year-old design, coding and publishing 3D games, Augmented Reality (AR) applications, Virtual Reality (VR) interactive worlds, and metaverse animation without any previous design or coding experience.

Over the past 6 months, Hatch Kids has grown exponentially to 1.1M+ users in 150 countries through school, government, and ed-tech partnerships, with 75% of usage coming from the US and Canada.

Other top destinations include the UK, Australia, and India. Students have built 3.6M + projects on the platform so far, in the classroom and beyond. Camp K12 started building the Hatch Kids stadium for use in its planning lessons, but after realizing the strong need for teachers and students, it is now opening up a teaching platform a forum for any organization you can use for free, as well as free AR / VR curriculum modules for teachers in the classroom or on social media.

The Delhi government began using the Hatch Kids stadium in January 2022 to teach programs in public school classrooms. The platform is also used by 100+ schools and edtech companies in North America, the Middle East, India, and Europe to make AR / VR construction accessible to children.

The team expects 2M + MAU in December 2022, sponsored by direct student use, and collaborations with 1500+ schools, ed-tech, and other government agencies around the world by the end of the year. Hatch Kids supports all K-12 teams and experience levels. Younger and beginner readers can begin to use visual, block-based programming mode, and then complete editing of advanced 3D applications using JavaScript. Readers can quickly publish and share their creations to millions of supported devices, including iPads, cell phones, professional VR headsets, laptops and desktops using simple QR code scanning or sharing of links.
