Canadian rapper Drake pays tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala

Drake paid a moving tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala by performing numerous songs by the late Punjabi vocalist.

Drake played many of Sidhu Moose Wala’s songs on his own radio show, paying a touching tribute to the late Punjabi musician. Drake, who recently launched his own radio show, paid a moving tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala by performing some of the late Punjabi singer’s songs on the air.

Many individuals were moved by Drake’s homage. Drake reportedly played some of his favourite tracks, including ‘295’ and ‘G-Shit,’ two songs by the late Punjabi rapper, in a new radio show called ‘Table for One,’ which premiered on Thursday.

“This collaboration will always be a dream… RIP… “Much respect to Drake for this,” one Twitter user said.

Oh my gosh, this is HUGE!! Respect @Drake, he played 295 songs,” another Twitter user remarked. “Sidhu Moosewala’s reach was global,” a Twitterati wrote, “Drake performing 295 and G Class on his programme table for one before the release of his new album.”


Drake expressed his condolences on social media after Sidhu was shot and died in Punjab’s Mansa region on May 29. Drake shared a photo of Sidhu Moose Wala with his mother on Instagram Stories and captioned it, “RIP MOOSE @sidhu moosewala.” Drake began following Moose Wala on Instagram in 2020.


Sidhu Moose Wala was killed in a drive-by shooting in Jawaharke village in Punjab’s Mansa district last month. The incident occurred a day after his security, as well as that of 423 others, was withdrawn by the Punjab police.


The singer joined the Congress party in December of 2021. The Congress conveyed its condolences on the death of Moosewala and underlined that it stands together in this moment of grief.
