Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance has launched a new digital campaign – #heroesofmycity to identify the real heroes in every city. The company is expressing that heroes are not limited to frontline workers and essential service providers but also ordinary men and women.
In 2018 by Canara HSBC OBC Life Insurance launched #meformycity, this two-month-long campaign is an extension to that initiative. #meformycity campaign is about fulfilling promises to the whole society and thereby making a difference to the cities that people be in residence. The company is saying that heroes are not only limited to frontline workers and essential service providers who continued doing their duty regardless of great risks but this campaign is to celebrate the ordinary men and women who are the real-life heroes and their acts of generosity during this pandemic.
#heroesofmycity designed by Canara HSBC OBC Life Insurance to recognise the heroes of the daily lives who kept the city going when everything gets stopped. The campaign carries the message of social awareness and the well-being of society. The campaign started with popular a silver screen face Bhumi Pednekar who was a strong voice to the idea of recognising these real-life heroes in every city.

By this, they are aiming to take forward the brand’s promise to society by honouring people. The ordinary men and women are the people who redefined heroism during the testing times of lockdown. The digital campaign will feature heart-breaking stories of people around the society who have provided heroic deeds during the lockdown. The Campaign will run for 2 months.
