An evening of unparalleled elegance, Cartier unveiled a distinguished collection of timepieces at the French Ambassador’s Residence in New Delhi, in collaboration with Kapoor Watch Company. The
event transcended a mere showcase, evolving into a celebration of the art of watchmaking, where iconic design and immersive experience intertwined seamlessly.

Drawing inspiration from the enduring spirit and distinctive forms of Cartier, the immersive experience vividly brought Maison’s visual language to life. Every detail of the evening echoed Cartier’s signature shapes— from the towering Roman numerals to the Santos-inspired infinity wall, aglow in the Maison’s signature ‘Cartier red’, a hue inextricably linked to the brand’s heritage. This exceptional gathering served as a rare invitation, offering New Delhi an intimate glimpse into the world of this legendary French Maison.

From the bold spirit of La Panthère to the architectural grace of Tank Chinoise, Cartier’s timepieces reflect a century of horological artistry. The carefully curated selection of watches celebrate femininity through La Panthère, an emblem of independence and fearless style with an extra supple bracelet evocating the feline’s attitude, while the 1930s-inspired Zelda pays homage to its namesake American artist and echoes the trend of the Années Folles reputed for opulence and luxury. A true jewellery watch matching the refinement of Cartier’s Garland style heritage. These feminine creations speak volumes of Cartier’s jewellery savoir-faire, where each watch becomes a piece of art.

The masculine offerings reveal Cartier’s technical mastery, particularly through their signature skeleton movements, where Roman numeral bridges serve both form and function. The collection spans from the visionary 1906 Tonneau, maintaining its distinctive beaded crown and blue steel
hands, to the Tank Chinoise, whose design is inspired by Asian temple porticos. Each timepiece, whether the reimagined Tank Normale or the Metier’s d’Arts Rotonde Islamic Arts, demonstrates Cartier’s ability to blend historical inspiration with contemporary sophistication.

Gaetan Guillosson, Cartier India’s Country Manager, spoke about this collaboration, saying, “When you look at a Cartier’s skeleton watches, you’re witnessing generations of innovation distilled into pure mechanical artistry. Proud to mention that this showcase at the French Ambassador’s Residence in New Delhi brings together two houses that understand, luxury is not just about what you see but about the story behind every detail. This exhibition, in partnership with Kapoor Watch Co., allows us to share not just our timepieces but our vision of watchmaking, where technical mastery and artistic expression come together.”

Pratiek & Raunaq Kapoor, Directors of Kapoor Watch Company, said, “It’s an absolute honor for us to bring the world of Cartier’s ‘Art of Shaping Time’ to India. Cartier is known for their attention to detail and experiences internationally, and for the first-time ever, we, in partnership with Cartier have brought their legendary brand story in full spirit for clients to touch, feel and experience in New Delhi.

The focus collection tonight has been Cartier’s Skeleton watches, and we can’t think of anything that resonates with the Indian audience more – a reflection of pure aesthetic and style. We’re sure that this one-of-a-kind experiential evening is something our clients will cherish for a long time.”
