The change to “new normal” has created significant weaknesses in my fields, especially the lack of capabilities to support teamwork or collaboration in the workplace. When employees moved out of shared office spaces and returned to their residences, socializing became alienated for many and teams were undoubtedly isolated.

The past year has challenged how elemental a teamwork environment is to the success of individuals, enterprises, and industries entirely.

Justice HQ is a collaborative workspace and membership program that serves the leading and approved consumer advocate attorneys. Brother Robert and Brad Simon along with cofounder Teresa Diep kicked off a technology arena that aids lawyers lessen paperwork, data analysis, and communication, minimizing expenditure and time in the process. As their popularity increased within the local legal world, they needed to hire more employees to handle their caseload.

During the process, they understood that their joint workspace and networking community cater to an atmosphere of collaboration. It is more than a space, it offers lawyers the chance to work jointly and gain from each other’s expertise.

This kind of teamwork is crucial for work in the post-pandemic world. Instead of isolating companies, expertise, and industries, employees can team up to gain from each others’ knowledge to create the best work possible.

The Justice HQ team discovered that, as their membership grew, the member lawyers were able to serve their clients because they had a wider variety of resources. This looks like one lawyer seeks advice on different cases and other community members were able to aid him to find solutions to particular problems and gain positive outcomes.

Collaboration can expand the horizon of what you offer to clients, no matter the industry. Collaborating with the rest in the industry, instead of being competitive, drives each stakeholder forward in their work. It encourages growth and innovation because more minds are determined to explore what creates the best business for clients.

The collaborative environment at Justice HQ encourages inclusion and diversity. The brothers and Diep, in the beginning, were very selective about developing the networking area, wanting to experiment before launching it. When they did launch it, the people that joined were enthusiastic about expanding their networks to involve a broader variety of connections.

By introducing a “teamwork” spirit at Justice HQ, the brothers were able to aid lawyers to grow in efficiency and increase their profit. However, deep down, does collaboration instill a sense of lack in competitiveness?
