In preparation of the cricket season, Facebook has launched the next phase of its ‘More Together’ campaign in India. Facebook’s brand philosophy that people can do better together than alone is underlined by the advertisement.

Earlier this year, Facebook launched its first ‘More Together’ initiative in India to demonstrate how individuals around the nation can do more together by harnessing the strength of their relationships on the web. True tales of how individuals came together on Facebook throughout the shutdown to assist and help each other, mirrored in the second stage of the initiative, further amplified the overarching message of the initiative. As we step closer to the country’s critically acclaimed cricket and festive season, the new phase showcases the strength of relationships and people coming together to motivate, encourage, and rejoice together.

Over the duration of the tournament, the advertisement will have four 30 second videos and will be released in 6 languages. The first film shows a girl posting on Facebook voicing her wish to introduce into her house the joyful atmosphere of a live cricket match. This enthuses all her peers, and the passion spreads. And just like that, we see a big order arriving from a creator of the shirt.

“Avinash Pant, Marketing Director, Facebook India, said,” As we move into the festive season that is expected to be special this year, we decided to showcase how amazing things can be generated by our collective acts. We hope these stories encourage people and see a world made better when they come together”

“Neeraj Kanitkar, Taproot Dentsu, senior creative officer, said,” The upcoming cricket season provided us with an opportunity to say new storeys about the transformative influence of small but collective Facebook acts that could contribute to a significant and positive shift in the lives of so many. Throughout the course of the competition, we will continue to push out such stories, serving as an opportunity for people to continue sharing their opinions on the forum.

Taproot Dentsu, the creative agency of the Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) India House, conceptualised and implemented the central campaign for Facebook in India.
