Mumbai, January 28, 2025 – CoinDCX, India’s largest crypto exchange, is leveraging the nation’s beloved chai culture to demystify Bitcoin and promote crypto literacy with the launch of its innovative “Bitcoin Chai Café” campaign. This unique initiative aims to seamlessly integrate crypto education into the fabric of everyday Indian life, transforming traditional chai tapris (tea stalls) into engaging spaces for learning and discussion. The campaign officially kicked off on Monday, January 27, at various locations across Mumbai. This campaign is featuring custom-branded cups adorned with playful Bitcoin references, chai tapris (tea stalls) reimagined as vibrant Bitcoin-themed hubs, and mobile chai cafés on wheels bringing the experience directly to tech parks and financial centers across Mumbai.

In November 2024, CoinDCX launched the ‘Learn Karo. Crypto Karo.’ campaign to step up as the ‘Crypto Coach’ to educate 160 million investors. and appointed esteemed cricketer Gautam Gambhir as its new brand ambassador. Gambhir is the first face of this initiative, which aims to educate Indian investors about crypto before they invest. India boasts a strong investor community of over 160 million, including more than 5 million traders engaged in equity and other investments; however, many remain hesitant to consider crypto due to a lack of understanding of this emerging asset class.
