The Cheesy Cook-Off featuring renowned chef Ajay Chopra was created and organized by Mother Dairy Cheese in association with Wavemaker India at the Holiday Inn, Aerocity, New Delhi. The Food Ka Buddy Campaign, which included online live sessions through Cheese Ki Paathshala, had an extension conclusion with this event. Our dependable collaborator in creating this IP was Momspresso.
The goal was to draw attention to cheese’s nutritional benefits because cheese frequently serves as a substitute for other ingredients in children’s diets (who are picky about eating). On July 27 and 29, 2022, two live sessions of Cheese Ki Paathshala on the Facebook pages of Mother Dairy Fresh Delights and Momspresso served as the launchpad for the online sessions.
9 influential moms and their kids participated in the live cooking portion of the Cheesy Cook-Off at the venue, joining the final 10 contestants from these sessions from Delhi NCR.
During the finale, a special session with nutritionist Vandana Verma was also planned to shed light on cheese and its health advantages. She emphasized the value of general nutrition and a balanced diet, the benefits of milk, the significance of cheese, and the nutritional boost it provides to a child’s diet.
She addressed the parents’ worries about their kids’ diets, how to deal with fussy eaters, and the general components of a good diet during an interactive session. “Cheese is high in minerals like protein and calcium, which are crucial components in a child’s diet,” she noted. When used in moderation, it not only enhances the flavor of your food but is also good for you.
Chef Ajay Chopra gave the parents advice on how to add cheese to the recipes their kids were eating. Nutella Cheese Pancakes and Cheesy Sandizaa made with Mother Dairy Cheese were the day’s offerings. Along with the parents and their kids, Chef Chopra’s sons Ashish and Akshat Chopra walked the stage to prepare some delectable meals in keeping with the event’s theme.
It’s fantastic to see the kids become interested in cooking, according to chef Ajay Chopra, who was quoted as saying. It’s the epitome of cooperation, especially with the help of the parents. Children can learn how to make dishes firsthand while participating in this activity, which also strengthens their relationship with their parents.
Arush Gupta and his mother Richa Gupta were named the winners of the Cheesy Cook-Off after the judges tasted all of the dishes that the competitors had prepared.
