The short video sharing platform, Chingari partnered with the celebrity fan engagement platform, TrueFan. A very exciting contest #TrueFanChingari has also been launched as part of the first collaboration between the two platforms Chingari and TrueFan.
Chingari is a fun and unique social entertainment platform that allows users to create and share videos. The Indian app gained huge popularity after TikTok was banned in India. Chingari allows users to create original videos to their favorite tunes using AR filters and it also has in-built filters and effects that allow users to add visual effects to their videos. Chingari allows users to upload videos in about 20 languages including English, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Bangla, Gujarati, Marathi, and Telugu.
TrueFan is a celebrity-fan engagement platform that allows its users to have a personalized interface with their favorite celebrities and vice-versa. Some of the celebrities who are a part of TrueFan are Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh. The Indian app has gained huge popularity among youngsters and Bollywood fans. Chingari and TrueFan as part of their #TrueFanChingari contest have greatly expanded their promotions to banner placements, weekly hashtags, and various pop-up notifications to attract the attention of users to the Chingari app and its hashtag challenge videos.
The Co-founder and CEO of Chingari App, Mr. Sumit Ghosh while speaking on the collaboration commented that, “Chingari is very much delighted and excited to collaborate with TrueFan, an exciting app that shares a similar mindset with Chingari”.
