Chrome DM’s Chrome Ad Sales has indicated that during this week that Sun TV, Star Plus, and ABP Ananda were among the top 10 channels by a count of the advertisers. Chrome Ad Sales further glorifies the Gain/Drop rate across those genres, categories, and advertisers that occurred during this week.
Sun TV has bagged maximum advertisers across all the genres in WK 17 and was preceded by Star Plus and ABP Ananda. According to Chrome Ad Sales, 143 advertisers have beefed up Sun TV during Week 17. Door darshan possessed the top place, by overthrowing 60 exclusive and followed by Zee Entertainment, their exclusive clients stood on 56. The third position was grabbed by SUN TV Network with 42 exclusive clients. The other channels were Panorama Television, Madhyamam Broadcasting Limited, Kalaignar TV, Star India.
The religious genre has witnessed an increase in advertisement with 15% growth and was followed by 9 new advertisers. Thereafter, they were backed up by English Movies. During this week, infotainment has witnessed a downfall of 9%. Meanwhile, Star Movie Select HD, Alami Samay, Manoranjan TV, and Nat Geo Wild were the largest recipient in week 17, and also had 23%,71%, 12%, and 14% growth rates respectively.
Educ-Ecom-Education had an increase in expensive rate by 52.6 % respectively in week 17. Despite education, the expensive personal hygiene care category had a rapid growth rate. Toothpaste had an expensive rate of 4.5%, and Toilet soaps had an increase of 3.2 %. During week 17, Wipro has bagged an increased rate of 47.8% and was followed by Pepsi by a growth rate of 11.2%. Whereas, Cadbury’s India and Godrej Consumer Products had a decline of 30.9% and 30.2% respectively during week 17.
Furthermore, Week 17 has also seen the arrival of religious channels in Hindi with a growth rate of 0.7 percent. Aastha channel has continued to secure with 97.5%, whereas in the infotainment section, National Geographic Channel bagged the top position, and even had a growth rate of 86.8%. Meanwhile, Hindi News had tremendous growth of 0.6 percent. Next comes, music genre with 0.5 percentage, where Sony Mix topped with a growth rate of 88.8%.
