Mumbai 11th February,2022: Childhood is the most important phase in everyone’s life. Parents play the most integral part in shaping a child’s future. With the help of parental love, a child can overcome all the struggles but what if the child doesn’t get the same love and affection? COLORS Marathi’s new offering “Let Majhi Durga” will deal with the elder daughter of Jagtap family “Durga” and her struggles. The show will go on air from 14th February every day at 7.30 pm only on Colors Marathi.

Commenting on the new show launch, Aniket Joshi, Business Head Colors Marathi said, “Colors Marathi has always got shows that connect with the contemporary Marathi audience and shows that the whole family can sit together and watch. After the resounding success of Balumamachya Navana Changbhala, we were trying to bring a show with differential storyline. “Lek Majhi Durga” will shed light on a very important issue which the audience will understand as the story progresses. We want to portray the mother-child relationship in a more accurate manner. We have deliberately changed the time slot of Balumamamchya Navana Changbhala and we hope that our audience continue loving the show like always.”

Lek Majhi Durga ” is the story of a Durga from the Jagtap family who lives in a small village near Satara. To everyone Durga has a happy family – a loving mother at home, a caring father. But in reality, her father doesn’t love her and feels she is a pest in the house. The show will convey a social message along with entertainment quotient and throw light on the prevailing customs and prejudices.

Viraj Raje, Programming Head, COLORS Marathi said, “We at COLORS Marathi have dealt with various aspects of relationship and here it is the purest of all relationship – the mother daughter bonding. The innocence of the little girl, the baseless religious norms and superstitions that have been going on in our society for a long time will be portrayed in this show. Hemangi will be seen in an important role in this show. We expect the audience will enjoy our show as much as we did while making it.”

Do watch “Lek Majhi Durga – Janiv “Ti’chya Astitvachi” starting from 14th February every day at 7.30 pm & Balumamachya Navana Changbhala at 10.30 pm respectively on Colors Marathi!!!
