Colors Odia will now bring to you series of latest releases, new and exclusive Odia movies. The movie festival will focus on wholesome family entertainment and show an assortment of flicks. Presenting the choicest films and a slew of premieres, the movie festival will have a robust line up.
Speaking on the decision of airing movies in the afternoon Srija Shahin Sidhartha, Programming Head, COLORS Odia said “The afternoon band is the me time for many viewers and we believe that introducing superhit Odia movies is the best method to make further inroads into our viewers’ homes. Colors Odia brings superhit movies with superhit star cast like Siddhanta, Sabyasachi, Anu Chowdhury, Elena, Aman, Ahana, Rakesh, Dibya, Chandan weaved in original Odia stories. Resonating with the motto of wholesome entertainment COLORS Odia is set to add lot of sparkles- Sunday Blockbuster will air two back to back movies every Sunday from 12 noon to 6 pm, Superhit Shanivaar will air two back to back movies every Saturday from 12 noon to 6 pm and Houseful Dwipahar will air movies every weekdays from 2 pm to 5 pm. The channel is also planning to launch movie premieres in the coming months.
