Craftsvilla.com, the online marketplace that is the destination of ethnic product search is all set to launch ten experience zones throughout India by March 2016. These experience zones will give the customers the opportunity to touch and see all the products that the online marketplace sells.
The Founder of Craftsvilla.com, Manoj Gupta, stated that the e-commerce market is growing on a steady pace in the country. It is highly essential for the customers to get acquainted with the product to instill brand loyalty in them. The experience zones are said to bridge the gap to ensure a better customer experience is offered.
The idea of Craftsvilla.com is to boost the online sales by concentrating on the user experience as well as pre-sales service. Also, they are aiming to have some of the best selling products on the website on display. The staffs at the experience zones will be trained to guide the customers make online purchases from the store.
The first couple of experience zones will be launched in Mumbai. Later, three centers will be launched in Delhi, two centers in Bangalore, and one in Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata each.
Gupta stated that the focus is to offer customers the best selling products of Craftsvilla that they can try before they actually buy. Of course, the products that are displayed on the website will be available for sale online, but the staffs will assist the customers chose the products of their choice and buy them from the website.
Craftsvilla.com raised Rs 221 crore funds, and about Rs 65 crore was kept aside from this amount to set up the experience centers. Craftsvilla follows Pepperfry, the e-commerce portal that set up experience zones for the customers to feel and see its furniture products before shopping online. This move will impress those customers who are hesitant about shopping online without actually experiencing the products.
