In honor of World Environment Day, Danfoss India, a world leader in climate, and energy solutions
has once again reaffirmed its commitment to environmental stewardship with a series of impactful
activities aimed at promoting sustainability and fostering a greener planet The multi-pronged
approach of sustainable practice pledge, Tree Plantation Drive, E-Vehicle Stall, and Plastic-free
Zone facilitation, have been designed to engage employees and the community in meaningful
actions to protect and restore our environment.
Danfoss India affirmed its dedication to environmental responsibility by taking the initiative to
pledge to be an environmentally responsible citizen. This pledge reflects Danfoss India’s ongoing commitment to sustainable practices and its proactive role in environmental protection. One of the key activities organized by Danfoss India was the Plastic-free zone initiative, which aimed not only to contribute to the green cover but also to engage employees in a meaningful and inspiring environmental activity.
The Tree Plantation Drive was graced by esteemed guests, including Mr. S Senthur Pari, President of ExNoRa, and Dr. R. Aruna, Professor at Thiagarajar College. The Plastic-Free initiative received invaluable support from Mr. Mahalingam, from the Highways Department, and Mr. Saravanan, the Sub Inspector of Police at Oragadam station. Participants in the event includedm Danfoss employees who volunteered for the cause, the Exnora Team, the Police Department, students from the Government ITI in Oragadam, and representatives from neighboring companies. The initiative aimed to inspire collaborative action and foster a community-driven approach toward environmental conservation, aligning with the overarching theme of World Environment Day.
