Data and Digital Marketing saw the highest salary jumps and remained the two most sought-after domains, retaining their popularity amongst Indian employers.
The YoY placement counts have overall remained strong as compared to the corresponding two quarters of 2022, with a 16% increase in the first quarter alone. This further reflects upGrad’s commitment to maintaining a stronger placement runway for their talent amid hiring and market uncertainties. Roles like Data Analyst, Digital Marketer, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, and Business Analyst have remained popular amongst employers with Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Mumbai seeing the most number of placements. Other cities like Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad also ranked on the list.
