As the festive atmosphere spreads across the country, Dell Technologies announced the launch of its festive campaign, #ApnaWalaFestival. The campaign aims to convey a message of passion, compassion, and optimism, reaffirming Dell’s commitment to fostering meaningful innovation. The campaign also highlights the significance of technology in empowering individuals to enjoy festivals in their unique ways by utilizing Dell’s versatile technological solutions.
Three digital films in the campaign highlight how Dell laptops, the Inspiron 16 2-in-1 and XPS 13 Plus, help the characters reinvent their celebrations. The first video, titled ‘A Debbie Wala Festival,’ depicts the story of Debbie, a young girl who wants to wear her favorite football jersey over a saree on Ashtami, but her mother is concerned.
Debbie’s sister designs a one-of-a-kind ‘jersey-saree’ for Debbie using the Inspiron 16 2-in-1, allowing her to express herself while also pleasing their mother. ‘A Raunak Wala Festival’ depicts a little child who is upset because he is unable to return home for Diwali, but finds warmth and consolation from fellow train passengers while staying connected with his family via his Dell laptop. ‘A Diya Wala Festival,’ the third film, tells the story of a guy who uses his XPS laptop to make emoji-shaped sweets to welcome his future partner’s daughter into the family.
“Festival celebrations in India bring a lot of joy and excitement and provide an opportunity for everyone to come together and share moments of delight,” said Mayuri Saikia, Director of Marketing (Consumer), Dell Technologies, India, in announcing the campaign. Our latest festive campaign strengthens Dell’s position as the ideal partner for everyone celebrating the festive season in their unique way. It also reflects Dell’s commitment to providing PCs that allow individuals to express their ideas, emotions, and passion.”
The campaign will be amplified on OTT platforms such as Hotstar, SonyLiv, Voot, Zee5, and others in Hinglish. Dell is also collaborating with micro-influencers to encourage them to share their festive memories with the hashtag #ApnaWalaFestival. Dell’s social media platforms will host the UGC campaign, and the best stories will be rewarded.
“Festivals today come with a lot of personalities,” stated Rohan Kumar and Nitika Parmar, Creative Directors, VMLY&R, of the campaign. According to trends, every event has a unique flavor. It could be in your outfit, the food you serve, the decorations you put up, or the family you celebrate with. That is why, this year, we wanted to go beyond the usual festive visuals and show how Dell Technologies, with its new line of PCs, can assist everyone in introducing new, unique elements that may turn any festival into an ‘Apna Wala festival.'”
Dell will provide an additional two years of warranty as well as goodies across their product lines as part of the campaign at Dell.com, Dell Exclusive Stores, multi-brand outlets, and large format retail. In addition, Dell will provide 5 to 10% cash back on select XPS/Alienware products.
