The applications of Robots have been tremendously increasing and quite appreciated in many fields. Artificial Intelligence bolsters Robotics to a new level. Robots are mainly aimed to do complicated tasks, mitigate human errors, and to ease complex operations. Simultaneously its applications are extending in the healthcare industry.

Robotic Surgeon is not the new term; many hospitals have deployed robots to perform critical surgeries. This Pandemic period gives rise to the implementation of robots at various places most dominantly at hospitals. One of the well-recognized hospitals in Dubai has deployed Robot surgeons to carry out critical operations. In addition to this, now robots are getting ready to extend its help in clinical laboratories. Robots will take responsibilities from human hands and will perform the most-repetitive tasks at laboratories.

Demand for nonsurgical robots is on the horizon as per the prediction by ABB Robotics. Robotics Manufacturer ABB Robotics, foresees the demand for such nonsurgical robots with the help of its research center at Houston. As per the prediction, the demand for nonsurgical robots will be higher in 2025 which is 4 times higher than the demand in 2018. These robots are aimed to speed up the laboratory tasks and to maintain error-free operations.

Robotics is most commonly used to schedule the routine and repetitive tasks of the laboratory. We can witness robotics in automating routine chemistry, urinalysis, centrifuging, immunoassay and most of these systems are bar code enabled. Robots will not completely replace human manpower at clinical laboratories. The main idea to implement robots to take over monotonous routine work and high volume tasks.

Artificial Intelligence is evolving and leverages Robots to the next level. On the other hand, technology is becoming user friendly in terms of access and cost perspective. Implementation of such technology is not a tedious task anymore and it will save more operating expenses. For example, drugs handled by robots and humans would be far different. Robots will use drugs according to the right proportion for testing while the human mind cannot act so accurately. There may be extra usage of drugs which leads to additional costs and wastage as well. Such errors can be effectively handled by Laboratory Robots.
