Sharan Jaswal has been promoted to General Counsel APAC, Luke Speers has been promoted to Chief People Officer APAC, and Paul Koppelman has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer, APAC, all effective April 1.

Sharan Jaswal has nearly two decades of in-house experience, including stints at ESPN Star Sports and Yahoo! She joined Dentsu as a Senior Regional Counsel in 2015 and has rapidly gained authority and respect from her peers, eventually being promoted to Deputy General Counsel, APAC, in 2018. She is a strong proponent of DEI, having founded Women@dentsu in Singapore in 2018 and now co-leading the Women Empowerment pillar of Dentsu’s DEI strategy across the area.
“Sharan is a trustworthy counsel who is well-known for her business skills. She has a track record of growing and leading our legal teams in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Creative companies across APAC, all while launching a DEI agenda in Singapore and supporting our global objectives in the area,” Clark added.
Luke Speers has served as Head of People at iSelect, one of Australia’s leading insurance comparators, Telstra, and The MitchelLake Group in consultancy roles. He joined Dentsu Australia as Head of Talent in March 2016, was promoted to HR Director in August of that year, then promoted to Chief People Officer in April 2019 and added South-East Asia to his responsibilities in 2021.
