afaqs! added ten categories this year, including Best Online Display Advertising, Best Paid Campaign, Best Brand Awareness Campaign, Best Use of Short Video Platform, and Best Storytelling, among others.
The response from agencies and brands was overwhelming. A total of 117 medals were given out in 39 different categories.

- SoCheers became the Agency of the Year and took home nine medals in total. (Best Use of YouTube, Best Long-form Video, Best Service Launch Campaign, Best Use of Social Media Marketing, Best Use of User Generated Content, Best Use of User Generated Content).
- MPL Sports Foundation became the Brand of the Year.
- For the #FanBannJaaoge campaign, MPL Sports Foundation received a gold medal (Best Use of Hashtags).
- The OTTPlay campaign by HT Media earned a gold medal (Best Application of Technology in Search).
- For Best Brand Awareness Campaign, Hershey India won gold for #HERSHE.
- For its BrutXTinder #SwipeStories campaign, Brut Media received two gold medals (Best Brand Integration and Best Use of Facebook categories).
- For Save the Children’s AllyUpForHer, Aagey Se Right won two gold medals (Best CSR Campaign and Best Viral Video categories).
- For its campaign titled Apka Asli Support System, PolicyBazaar received a gold medal. (Best Digital Brand Video and Best Use of Podcast categories).
- Creativeland Asia earned gold medals. (Best Digital Brand Video and Best Event and Experiential Marketing).
- For Asian Paints, Madison Media received gold medals (Best Lead Generation Campaign and Best Mobile Marketing Campaign).
- HiveMinds took home two gold medals for Domino’s and CoinSwitch Kuber (Best Paid Campaign and Best Performance Marketing categories).
- White Rivers Media’s Dream11 campaign, Ye Main Kar Leta Hoon, earned a gold medal (Best Use of Viral Marketing).
- MSL won a gold medal for News18 HSM Network’s Natkhat Kanha 2021 campaign (Best Use of WhatsApp category).
- In the Best Viral Video category, Wirality Media got a gold medal for Truecaller’s Shabd campaign.
- Songfest India also won a gold medal for magicpin’s The Bread Ad
- Asli Savings campaign in the same category.
- Kinnect got four yellow medals. (Best Use of Instagram, Best Use of Real-Time Video, Best Use of YouTube, and Best SEO/SEM Campaign).
- The Glitch took home gold medals for ENO Gadbad and Big Little Moves campaigns. (Best Short-form Video and Best Use of Instagram categories).
- In the categories of Best UI/UX App and Best UI/UX Website, 3 Minds Digital received gold medals.
- For Bajaj Finserv‘s Savdhaan Rahein Safe Rahein campaign, Social Panga won a gold medal (Best Use of Short Video Platform category).
