Pet Fed Delhi ON DAY 1: Here is what you missed on Day 1 Delhi Edition
New Delhi, December 16, 2023, Saturday: Pet Fed, recognized as India’s Largest Pet Festival and the holder of the Limca World Record for the ‘Biggest Dog Carnival,’ concluded the initial day of its 8th edition at NSIC Grounds, Okhla on December 16th, 2023, Saturday. Presented by JUSTDOGS and powered by Purina Supercoats India with co-powered by Drools, in association with Mankind’s Petstar Observed by a delightful congregation of more than 1800+ pets, comprising dogs, cats, and even iguanas. Accompanying them were more than 11K+ pet enthusiasts and parents, contributing to a delightful ambiance.
The cutest weekend of the year they have commenced with a plethora of engaging activities, such as Police Dog Show, Fab Indie, and Mascot Award Presentation, Pet Fed Start Pet India Award Presentation, Temptation Alley, Trick Relay, Musical Mutts, and an Expert Masterclass in collaboration with Mankind’s PetStar. The International Cat Show, presented in association with the Alliance of Cat Fanciers and the World Cat Federation, added a feline touch to the festivities. Day 2 promises even more excitement with activities like Pet’s Got Talent, Pet Fashion Show, and another International Cat Show. A special act is done by the Delhi Police Crime Branch Dog Squad, creating awareness and respect for the unsung heroes and squad and their service towards the nation on Day 2.

The festival highlights a designated Play Area featuring agility challenges, trampolines, ball pools, kitty playpen and doggo slides. A specialized indoor cat zone guarantees that our feline companions enjoy their fair share of amusement. On the second day, there will be a fashion show and another International Cat Show, organized in collaboration with the Alliance of Cat Fanciers and the World Cat Federation.
The Adoption Camp remains a popular highlight for individuals contemplating adding a furry companion to their homes, advocating the adoption principle #AdoptDontShop. Numerous NGOs such as Friendcoes, People For Animals, Umeed for Animal actively support this cause. Featuring attractions such as the Police Dog Show, Masterclass, and a vibrant marketplace boasting over 100 stalls, Pet Fed caters to a wide range of interests and preferences. Free entry is offered to the owners of Indie/Desi Pets, promoting and encouraging adoption.

Highlights of the festival:
- Limca World Record Holder – Pet Fed, India’s biggest annual pet festival, holds the prestigious Limca Book of Records as the ‘Biggest Dog Carnival.’ With over 962 dogs that participated over two days for the record and footfall of more than 19,400 humans, this biggest pet socializing festival happens annually across Delhi, Bengaluru & Mumbai.
- Master Class- Embracing a pet involves more than simply offering care and shelter; it goes beyond that! Gain valuable insights into grooming, health, and nutrition from reputable and experienced professionals.
- International Cat Show in association with World Cat Federation & Alliance of Cat Fanciers – In partnership with the Alliance of Cat Fanciers and World Cat Federation, we are proud to acknowledge and certify all cat breeds throughout both days of the festival. Participate in games and enjoy entertaining activities for the opportunity to earn certificates and trophies.
- Delhi Police Crime Branch Dog Squad Show– A demonstration by Delhi’s Police Crime Dog Squad showcasing their skill and expertise in searching for drugs and explosives, locating missing people, finding crime scene evidence, protecting officers and other people, and attacking suspects who flee from officers. This show will take place on the final day of the Pet Festival.
- Adoption Camps – We firmly believe in the motto #AdoptDontShop, aiming to promote awareness about adoption as the preferred method of acquiring a pet, in collaboration with several NGOs.
- Dedicated Play Areas & Agility Ring – There are designated play zone areas for Cats and dogs, respectively featuring amenities like the ball pool and Agility Ring for dogs, as well as a covered Cat Zone along with a Kitty PlayPen for cats. This arrangement guarantees a delightful time, creating awesome moments for both pets and their owners.
- Fashion Show –Can your pet play and slay? This is the right place to show off your skills and flaunt your beauty! This is a fun activity where pets and their hoomans are dressed in quirky and stylish attires and walk down the ramp in style and play the pup-arazzi.
