The Mumbai-based doctor-centered platform will utilize the funds to strengthen its tech capabilities, expedite doctor acquisitions and amplify the content and operational team

February 22, 2022:  CLIRNET, India’s largest Live Digital CME & Doctor Generated Medical Content Platform, has raised USD 1 Million in the Pre-Series A funding round led by a group of senior executives of major international funds management and banking organizations.  The Mumbai-based doctor-centered platform will utilize the funds to strengthen its tech capabilities to leverage AI for deepening platform engagement, expedite doctor acquisitions and amplify the content and operational teams. The company was seeded by the promoters of Life Science Logistics LLC, USA (majority stake acquired by Blackstone in January 2022).

Building on its core strengths of generating user-based medical knowledge and doctor engagement, CLIRNET is launching a suite of pioneering products to help connect doctors and patients. By applying AI, CLIRNET’s digital tools will provide doctors with the knowledge they need, when they need it while simultaneously supporting patient management. A core belief at CLIRNET is that by serving 700,000+ doctors of India, including those in its most remote areas, CLIRNET can positively impact the lives of 1.3+ billion patient in India.

Commenting on the current round, Saurav Kasera, Co-Founder, CLIRNET, remarked “The confidence shown by existing and new investors in the current round gives us the ability to build on the digital tools that doctors are actively using to deliver last mile patient care that is both accessible and affordable. CLIRNET is already India’s largest collaboration platform among doctors and their peers. In our next phase of growth, we will accelerate our support of doctors in building respectful connections with their patients.”

Max Kamhi, Co-Founder, Life Science Logistics added,” CLIRNET is rapidly approaching platform engagement with 50% of India’s doctors–every healthcare business will need to include CLIRNET in their multi- channel marketing program in India.”

Sharing his insights on the funding, Oliver Lennox of DaceyHolden Management LLC, said, “I am deeply impressed by the platform and its immense possibilities built by the CLIRNET team with limited funding to date.”
