Domino’s Pizza India shall now offer contactless delivery. Customers can choose this new service through the newest version of the brand’s app only for prepaid orders says the company. This allows customers to receive the orders without coming into any contact with the staff delivering the orders. This offer is available only for prepaid customers.

Domino’s Pizza India has launched contactless food delivery services across the country, stated the company. It added that the contactless service will be available across all the 1325 restaurants of the dominos stores across the country.

The service is available only on the latest version of the brand’s app. It allows prepaid customers to take their orders without any contact with the delivery staff. The delivery staff will place the order in front of the customer’s door and will wait at a safe distance until he ensures that the order has been collected by the customer.

The brand added, in these difficult times when customers are much concerned about health and cleanliness, Domino’s understanding customer’s preferences have put in place more importance to hygiene and sanitation protocols in the stores and for their delivery service. All the staff including frontline staff and delivery staff, all have been hired after being health checked. In addition to this, the brand announced the launch of a contactless delivery service, which is zero contact delivery. Placing orders online followed by digital payment of orders brings contactless service between the customers and the staff. Customers and employee safety is the brand’s priority and is all set with the necessary measures towards that, said Pratik Pota, CEO & Whole Time Director, Jubilant FoodWorks.

Domino’s Pizza, owned by the Jubilant Foodworks, is the newest food brand to offer the no contact delivery service option to its customers. McDonald’s had also launched a contactless delivery service to deliver food to the customers’ doorstep.

The top food delivery platforms like Zomato and Swiggy, have also taken several measures from telling the consumers to let delivery staff leave the order packages at the door to offer insurance and financial support to the delivery staff in case they are infected with the virus, so as to mitigate any negative impact on consumer deliveries.
