The sponsors of the Dream11 IPL have expanded their collaboration to the 2020 Jio Women’s T20 Challenge with the BCCI.

Brijesh Patel, IPL Chairman, stated, “We hope to develop a road to a dedicated Women’s IPL with the Jio Women’s T20 Challenge and increase women’s participation in the sports. Our Dream11 IPL collaborators joining with us for the Jio Women’s T20 Challenge is a wonderful tribute to the development of women’s game and cricket in India. We expect that the Jio WT20C will create idols for young fans and encourage young fans.”

The Jio Women’s T20 Challenge is now financially stable, and this is a very good thing for women’s cricket in India, said Arun Dhumal, Treasurer, BCCI. Building self-sustainable assets that allow us to find players and grow our player pool is necessary for us to maintain our World Cricket success. The Jio Women’s T20 Challenge will increase the reach of the women’s sport to fans and will build a new economic prosperity for women in sports in the future with a dedicated Women’s IPL.

“Dream11 is pleased to be the official Jio Women’s T20 Challenge collaborator,” said Vikrant Mudaliar, Chief Marketing Officer, Dream11. Women’s Cricket is experiencing healthy audience growth, and for this sporting event, we are likely to see greater traction among sports fans on Dream11. For India to become a sporting powerhouse, it is important to foster and push fan engagement for women-centred and domestic leagues.

After yet another successful partnership with the BCCI during this year’s IPL we intend to enhance our association by expanding our official partnership to the Jio Women’s T20 Challenge in Sharjah, through our premium hatchback, the Tata Altroz,” stated Vivek Srivatsa, head, Marketing Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors. With this alliance, we are optimistic that the popularity of Altroz among potential female buyers will increase and our consistent participation in the matches across on-ground and social media channels will make this tournament an unforgettable one for viewers worldwide.
