A new worldwide campaign, the Dubai Presents, with the Hollywood stars Jessica Alba and Zac Efron, has been launched by the Dubai Marketing Ministry of Tourism and Trade (Dubai Tourism). The campaign calls for worldwide travelers, experienced researchers, storytellers, and artistic artists to take a photo, write themselves and appear in their five-day adventures and provide the perfect background for the amazing places of Dubai.
The campaign, directed by Directors Guild award-winning filmmaker Craig Gillespie, is a series of six short trailer films in various genres, each of which takes viewers on a fascinating tour throughout the city. Starting with the high-adrenaline spy Action genre, Alba and Efron will appear in a series of trailers across different genres that will be released in sequence over four months. Dubai is ready to welcome travelers and meet the growing demand for excellent vacations filled with adventure, romance, and culture as it continues to open its doors to worldwide markets.
Dubai is one of the first cities in the world to shut down and lockdown, then reopen and stay open. This was accomplished by taking a cautious and phased approach to reopening areas while adhering to stringent health and safety measures by international standards. Dubai will open to local tourists in May 2020 and foreign tourists in July 2020, following the gradual execution of a multi-phase rehabilitation plan.

The series of films provides a film overview of the city’s places, beautiful scenery, rich culture, and variety, encouraging travelers throughout the world to visit Dubai for an epic journey. This new production takes Dubai as a city that celebrates the cultures of more than 200 nationalities and provides a variety of experiences for the entire family and further strengthens its profile as the best place in the world to live, work and visit. Dubai Presents campaign will support their efforts to boost tourist momentum in what is shaping up to be a watershed year for Dubai, as we prepare for Expo 2020 and the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.”
Dubai presents, a 360-degree worldwide campaign that will debut on August 5, 2021, in 27 global countries, including India, in over 15 languages, including English, Mandarin, German, Italian, French, and Dutch.
The campaign will run in India across many platforms, including OTT, the internet, and social media. The campaign also includes a series of teaser materials that showcase cuisine, nature, active and self-indulgent holidays in Dubai, in addition to the six celebrity-led trailers. Dubai recently celebrated one year after its reopening in July 2020, with figures from Dubai Tourism revealing that the city attracted an astonishing 3.7 million overnight guests, with 811.6 thousand from India, between July 2020 and May 2021. This encouraging statistic highlights Dubai’s role as a worldwide tourism leader, providing visitors with a secure, attractive, and memorable experience.
