Sept 20, 2012: Indian FMCG major, Emami Ltd is aiming Rs 100 crore worth sales for its pain relief ointment “Himani Fast Relief”. The company relaunched the pain relief ointment with some new formulations. According to the company sources they expect Rs 100 crore sales of the ointment in the next three years. Currently, the ointment earns Rs 35 crore sales.
Emami Ltd which is the flagship company of Emami Group has reformulated the brand targeting young adults who are highly prone to aches and pains. The pain relief ointment market in India is estimated to be Rs 350 crore and Emami is one of the major players in the industry.
