In the spirit of this global movement, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) and Prayas collaborated to present a remarkable event titled “Her Voice,” aimed at amplifying women’s voices and inspiring inclusivity in society.
The festivities commenced with a captivating video presentation by WEDO India Chapter and Prayas JAC Society, followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Shri Amod Kanth IPS (Retd.), Founder General Secretary of Prayas JAC, graced the occasion with a warm and enlightening welcome, shedding light on the origins and significance of International Women’s Day.
Highlighting the importance of recognizing and valuing women from diverse backgrounds, Shri Amod Kanth reiterated the significance of fostering effective inclusion.
Followed by the welcome address, Ambassador of WEDO India Chapter, Dr. Sushi Singh delivered the theme address where young women expressed their full participation wholeheartedly. She passionately urged women to raise their voices against oppression, advocating for positive change on a global scale.

Sana Shakil, Managing Director of Patriot and a prominent journalist, passionately advocated for safe working spaces in modern India, emphasizing the need for inclusivity across all spheres.
Mamta Gandhi, Assistant General Manager at RBI, delivered a moving address on the necessity of discipline and perseverance in shattering glass ceilings, underscoring the irreplaceable value of hard work and dedication. Elena Barman, representing the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots, shared her personal journey and challenges as a
woman in India, inspiring young women to pursue their dreams with unwavering courage and conviction.
Anita Gupta, Founder of the NewAgeMompreneurs community, emphasized the critical importance of financial independence and harnessing inherent power to achieve one’s aspirations.
