Bengaluru, 16th JanuaryEnabling Leadership (EL), a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children with essential leadership skills, successfully organized two-day music extravaganza on January 13 and 14, 2024, at the Good Sheppard Auditorium in Bengaluru. Featuring the renowned bands Indian Ocean and Thaikkudam Bridge, the concerts aimed to raise funds for their upcoming annual flagship event, ‘Elevate2024’.

EL brought together music enthusiasts and philanthropists alike for two nights of soulful melodies and rock-infused beats. The concerts not only showcased the exceptional musical talents of these iconic bands but also exemplified their commitment to making a positive impact on society.

Expressing the excitement, Rahul Ram from Indian Ocean stated, “We believe in the power of music to change lives. Collaborating with Enabling Leadership for their fundraising concert at Bangalore was an opportunity to use our work for a greater purpose. Every note played, and every beat resonated with the mission to empower young minds and create a positive ripple effect.”

Adding his comments, Govind Vasantha, Founder of Thaikkuddam Bridge, said, “Music has the incredible ability to bridge gaps and connect hearts. Our performance yesterday was more than a concert; it was a celebration of unity and a testament to the transformative power of music. EL is organizing its annual flagship event, ELevate2024 on February 17 and 18 in Bangalore. It is a celebration of excellence, showcasing the best talent from across the country on the national stage with the best teams coming together to participate in football, music, and Lego competitions. This event marks the culmination of a year-long educational journey, providing a remarkable platform to showcase and refine skills and talents.

EL’s objective is to develop a generation of leaders who are equipped with the skills to take care of themselves and the world around them. With 80 full-time employees and 200 part-time faculty members, EL currently reaches 10,000 children from various government schools across India, Cambodia, and Singapore. Using the fun and creative mediums of football, music and Lego blocks, and a unique experiential pedagogy, the organization has made significant gains in imparting essential leadership skills with a special focus on empowering girls.
