Sept 28, 2012: India’s largest marketer of dry cell batteries, Eveready Industries India lunched its new range of rechargeable emergency lanterns. The company claims that the new range of emergency lanterns is accompanied with LED technology and provides uninterrupted power supply for 15 hours and requires very low recharging time.
Eveready industries on an average sell 1.2 billion units annually in the country. The company’s product portfolio includes rechargeable batteries, rechargeable lanterns, CFL & GLS lamps and packet tea.
