Sony is making a strong come back to smartphone market with their new Sony Xperia series. Though Sony Xperia S has some visible down falls but there is no reason to stop you from buying that one, especially those who love HD mobile experience.
Last day I was quite fortunate to try out the new smart phone, Sony Xperia S. And I got the feeling that Sony is on the right path back to the competitive world of smartphones. This phone will definitely prove to be a big move for Sony. This is the first phone from Sony without the name Ericsson attached to it (I think so).
The premium build phone comes at a handsome price of Rs 30,990 with an excellent HD display and fits well in the hands. The one feature which I would like to definitely worth mentioning is the camera part. The 12 mega pixel with LED flash will give you good quality pictures. You can also enjoy viewing them in Panoramic mode, something not so common in similar smartphones. The phone will offer you some spur of moment shots bas the phone snaps pictures very quickly! Quickly in the sense that as soon as launch the camera, the phone snaps a shot.

Sony Xperia S comes with Android 2.3 which may not be appealing for many users. But let me assure you that the features are pretty much advanced. It allows you to create app folders and it offers a lot of room for entertainment and media. You can enjoy watching movies and videos on the HD reality display as it will not hurt your eyes. The finish of the rear panel is so perfect that it does not slip away from your hand even when you type with the same hand holding the phone unlike other smartphones which slips away. The phone has a slot for HDMI port and micro USB port. With 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1GB RAM I feel the phone is worth for the money you spent and design gives a premium feel to the phone.
I strongly feel that Sony seems to have take a clue from their past mistakes and is trying hard to stand out in the crowded Smartphone market with this Xperia series.
