July 28, 2014: How many times have you felt the need to store links while browsing through Facebook? If you have felt the need then the solution is here. Facebook recently launched a new tool ‘Save’ that lets users store links from News Feed and Facebook Pages so that they can view them later. The users can from now on use the ‘Save’ feature on Facebook to store links and bookmark the content related to TV Shows, Music, Movies, Events and Places to a list.

Daniel Giambalvo, Software Engineer at Facebook wrote in a blog post about this new feature from Facebook, “Every day, people find all sorts of interesting items on Facebook that they don’t have time to explore right away. Now you can save items that you find on Facebook to check out later when you have more time.” He further wrote, “You can view the items you saved at any time by going to your saved items in the “More” tab on mobile or by clicking the link on the left hand side of Facebook on the web. We’ll sometimes show you reminders of your saved items in News Feed. For example, we might show you link to articles you saved.”

The content which is bookmarked by a user can be seen only by them unless they choose to share them with friends. The feature which would be available for Web Users will also be available for iOS and Android users.
