Dec 8, 2012: After parting ways with Tata and deciding to go alone in the Indian market, Fiat is planning to go aggressive in 2013 and launching nine new models. Fiat is bringing the iconic Jeep brand as well which was in its possession for a long time to India towards the end of 2013. The Fiat-Chrysler group is bringing Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Grand Cherokee models in India and it will be sold via Jeep Dealer Network. The aggressive expansion plans of Fiat include launch of new Fiat Linea and Fiat Punto edition and launch of an exclusive model of its sports car Abarth.
