Fino Payment Bank plans to launch 300 points at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) outlets to its existing 1,075 outlets in Tamil Nadu. This facility aims to support the truck drivers to get a fleet card recharged by paying equivalent cash. The State head, Dhanasekaran, remarked that recharging the Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) SmartFleet cards which used to pay for fuel has been a trouble to the truck drivers for some time and to solve this discomfort, Fino with BPCL has launched such facilities. He also mentioned after inaugurating a facility at Perundurai in Erode district that, the digitized cash in the form of prepaid fleet cards allows the drivers to make payments for fuel at BPCL stores, which also completely frees BPCL from handling the cash given by the drivers. The staff of Fino point encourages general public and truck drivers to carry out banking transactions with the Micro ATM and Aadhaar enabled payment system (AePS) devices.
