Bengaluru, March 2025 – Crackle Kitchen, Bengaluru’s first standalone Omakase-style restaurant, is turning up the heat with the launch of The Steak & Wine Programme, an indulgent celebration of fire, flavour, and finesse. Starting from 12th March, this new menu is an ode to perfectly cooked steaks, paired with exceptional wines and seasonal cocktails. Alongside it, the arrival of Summer Omakase brings a lighter, sun-kissed contrast, featuring vibrant Saag, crisp Zucchini Flower Tempura, Warm and Cold Sea Fish, and a refined take on Surf & Turf—a delicate interplay of seasonal produce and premium seafood.

At the heart of the steak experience are Hearth Steaks, where premium cuts meet the primal allure of open-fire cooking. Chef Vivek Salunkhe’s menu highlights two showstoppers—The MOFO Steak, a bold Surf & Turf pairing of buttery Chateaubriand with indulgent Mud Crab or Lobster, finished with tomalley butter and a rich prawn head jus, and The Bone Collector, a Porterhouse cut elevated by a luscious fall of bone marrow, deepening its smoky essence.
Crackle is also introducing a new “Limited Edition” section, featuring premium add-ons that guests can opt for when dining in. Diners now have the choice of a three-course or six-course Omakase. The three-course menu, priced at ₹1,500, is built around local produce and makes up half of the existing ₹3,000 cover charge. Guests who opt for this can redeem the remaining amount on a dish from the Limited Edition menu or a signature cocktail, allowing for a flexible, personalised experience. For those who want the full journey, the six-course Omakase remains a deep dive into Crackle’s seasonal storytelling.
The menu is perfectly complemented by a handpicked selection of international wines, bringing together both Old and New World labels chosen to enhance the depth of the steaks and small plates.
“Pairing the right wine with steak is about finding harmony—balancing structure, acidity, and flavour to enhance the depth of each dish.” Wine Sommelier Chethan shares his thoughts on the pairings. “With this curation, we’ve brought together a selection of Old and New World wines that complement our fire-kissed steaks and seasonal small plates. Whether it’s the richness of a Bordeaux or the brightness of a Viognier, each pairing is designed to elevate the dining experience and bring out the best in every bite.”
The Château Bonnet Bordeaux Red offers structured tannins and bright fruit notes that elevate the richness of the meats, while the Jaboulet Viognier, with its floral and stone fruit notes, brings a refreshing contrast to dishes like the Truffle Bomb and Moules Moiley.
For cocktail lovers, Crackle’s bar programme has been carefully curated by Prince (Somingam Mangkung), the in-house Bar Manager and Mixologist. He has designed a selection of seasonal cocktails to complement the menu with signatures like the Crimson Agave, a bold tequila-based creation that cuts through the richness of the steaks, while the Golden Brine, with its savoury, umami-forward profile, pairs beautifully with seafood.
