Financial services technology player FIS launches IQ, a mobile app for the world’s small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) that provides insights regarding business health, stability, and prospects. Like Apple and Android devices iQ app helps the owners to monitor the business performances with their mobile devices. The app consolidates data from various sources from banks, third party financial institutions which provide an overall view of key business metrics regarding sales and cash flows to dispute activity. According to Nicole Jass, Head of SMB Merchant Products, they create iQ Now from the ground up with the needs of SMBs in mind.
SMBs are creating social distancing and stay-at-home measures. iQ Now provides critical insights and tools to business proprietors that’s why they could spend very less time on non-productive works and gain more control in their business as well as operations in this pandemic scenario. There some functions or features designed by iQ Now like, self-service, simple biometric-based login, push notifications, and all-in-one functionality. At view graphs and reports give merchants with real-time views of their business functions. Simple click-and-point features enable them to scrutinize on key metrics like average sale size and store productivity.
There is also another feature which is called “tap-and-snap” workflows. This feature helps the merchants to handle doubts and refunds. Business owners can take photos in the device camera and submit within the app itself. For instance, just a simple tap is enough to pull monthly statements. Instead of using multiple applications, this app is very user friendly to pull monthly statements and other finance-related works. During this COVID-19 pandemic, these types of innovations not only convenient to finances but to the operations and IT sectors too.
