Mumbai, 13th April ’23: Blue Dart Express Limited, South Asia’s premier express air-integrated transportation and distribution express logistics company, has announced the launch of its programme – ‘The Logistics Company of Bharat’. This initiative is conceptualized as an ode to India’s efforts towards becoming the fastest-growing economy in the world, projected to be a $5 trillion economy by 2025. Acknowledging the enormous contribution of the logistics industry to the national economy, this initiative puts a spotlight on Blue Dart’s expanded reach in Tier II & III towns, thus serving the needs of a new Bharat.
‘The logistics company of Bharat’ campaign is programmed to work along with the Government’s policy, i.e. Gati Shakti, National Logistics Policy, etc. to enable businesses in the towns of Bharat – to grow to their fullest potential. This programme reiterates Blue Dart’s focus on customer centricity, as the brand has its presence across 55,400+ locations in the country and will soon be inducting 2 Boeings 737 aircrafts to its existing fleet of 6 Boeing 757 freighters towards delivering customer delight.
Commenting on the programme, Ketan Kulkarni, Chief Commercial Officer, said, “There’s a dynamic shift in the mind-set of how we see ‘India’ and ‘Bharat’, a metaphor for the so-called division between urban and rural areas of the country. This gap is fast diminishing. Through this campaign, Blue Dart with its future-thinking ethos, is focusing its efforts towards servicing the needs of Bharat through this campaign, with its wide reach which includes Tier II & III towns of the country.”
This programme highlights Blue Dart’s efforts towards enabling effective and efficient operations for SMEs and MSMEs across all the pin codes by working with them to expand their services to reach even the most remote pockets of the country.
