Hyderabad 8th March 2021: Freedom Healthy cooking Oils celebrates International Women’s Day with series of activities, recognizing successful women leaders by presenting – Women Leadership Awards 2021 in association with Hybiz.tv and acknowledging the contribution of frontline women workers from GHMC for their outstanding service to humanity during the Pandemic. Freedom also supports ‘Run for a Girl Child’ in association with ‘Seva-Bharati foundation’ to support education and skill development for girls from the underprivileged segments. Celebrating Marchas, a month dedicated to women’s #Freedomtochoose, Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils also released a heart-warming video on life of a working woman, her challenges and the support received by her family which was directed by a woman featuring a renowned TV personality.
Freedom has been at the forefront driving the mission #Freedomtochoose, designed to encourage and inspire women to follow their dreams, by celebrating the achievements by women across different domains and using them to inspire others to follow their passion.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. P. Chandra Shekhara Reddy, Vice President – Sales &Marketing, Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils said,” We are happy to celebrate the International Women’s day every year. This year, we are releasing a video, featuring a working women, her challenges and support system, helping her follow her dreams with the support of her family, a true reflection of the present day society empowering women with #Freedomtochoose. Apart from this we are associating with the seva-bharati foundation to support education and skill development of underprivileged women, and with Telangana police to set-up a Bharosa Centre for providing safety and support to women. This year we have also associated with Hybiz.tv for the Women Leadership Award 2021 appreciating women achievers and saluting the relentless service of GHMC women workers during the pandemic. Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils, is actively involved with the ‘Run for a girl child’ initiative, with the objective of supporting education and skill development of the underprivileged girls. Last year it was a physical event at Gachibowli Stadium, however because of COVID 19 regulations this time it’s been conducted in 3 different ways. 1. A virtual Run, where you have to download a particular app. And record your distance run, 2. Community Run and 3. The Run for girl child ground event. It will be happening on 21st March at Gachibowli stadium and will follow all COVID -19 protocols. Freedom will contribute Rs. 10 per Km run by the participants in the event as a part of their mission to empower women across the strata of the society.
To assist, women empowerment, Freedom Healthy cooking oils, works actively with Telangana Police, and has helped set up a Bharosa Centre @ Warangal, to help women needing protection and support.
