Dec 4, 2012: French designer Mr. Vivien Muller has created an innovative bonzai tree which has 27 miniature solar panels as leaves. They can be powered by solar energy and can be used for charging your mobile phones, tablets and other gadgets. This bonzai tree is named ‘Electree+’. Users have the freedom to arrange these 27 solar panels or leaves in any order thus altering the shape of the bonzai tree. This unique battery charging Electree+ has a battery inside which can hold solar energy and under full capacity it can charge iPad twice and also fully charge a phone in 4 hours time. This digital tree will cost around 283 GBP and Muller is waiting for around 200 pre-orders for starting the commercial production work.
