Artificial Intelligence is dominating the world and it is well known across the world. AI initially started in the year 1955 and has been evolving since then. Today AI is found in almost everything thing we deal with on an everyday basis.

Since AI is dominating almost all aspects of life, business, and the world, it is also impacting education and students. As per a record made by Cornell University, by the year 2026, AI applications will help students write their high school level essays or assignments, but this report has not mentioned college level essays. Now that so much has evolved in a short period, it will not be too late for AI to learn like humans at the same speed, and if that happens, AI applications will be able to write college level essays for students in the coming future.

AI uses a technology called Natural Language generation for content creation. This technology is already in use by various businesses, finance, and the medical field. This technology can fetch all the required information from data and turn it into content in plain language which is readable and understandable by most common users. This technology has so many other features; it can summarize a lengthy document, create a 20-page financial report, or even write a poem. All we need to do is to provide the AI with the desired template for the style of writing.

Since this technology is already available, it is not used in schools or college, because it cannot measure a student’s capability, it is only going to show how much a computer know about the topic. There has not been a clear definition of how plagiarism works on this technology. AI will create content in a fraction of seconds, in this way it will kill students thinking ability. In the future until and unless a law or rules are implemented to ban AI usage in school or college, we can expect this in the coming years, where students no longer need to spend their effort and time creating content on a particular topic. There is going to a debate on this matter.
