India, 7th August 2023: As the grey monsoon clouds part to reveal the golden glow of the oncoming festive season, Suta is celebrating in style with the brand’s all-NEW Onam-Themed Collection, Malli Poove. The collection is inspired by the classic off-white and gold colours of the traditional kasavu weave, reimagined with Suta’s inimitable contemporary touch.
The collection comprises seven sarees, made of lightweight, comfortable, and easy-wearing and draping fabrics, ranging from the brand’s signature mul mul cotton to silk. The colour palette and motifs are inspired by nature and auspicious elements that are especially significant to the Onam celebrations, including the Sadya.
Each saree features delicate zari embellishments to add to the festive allure. Paired with the sarees are six sophisticated blouses that come in a variety of vibrant solid hues, elegant necklines, and sophisticated elbow-length sleeves.
Like the sarees, the blouses too feature the lightest touch of zari, to further add to their festive allure. The sarees and blouses can be accessorised and styled in various ways to create looks that go from traditional to trendy, in a matter of minutes.
