The main secret to the success of Starbucks was to make the coffeehouses a place for people to relax. However, it’s also becoming a place for people to work in the new, technologically advanced world, with creative professionals using laptops and other mobile devices to produce and interact while sipping a cappuccino, Frappuccino or even a drink that doesn’t end in “-ccino.”

The world-famous coffee chain, Starbucks dig down the importance of wearing masks in a self-deprecating online post. Seeing Starbucks’ favourite barista get your order right is good, right? To get your names correctly on the cup for her/him? Now we are talking about all of that.

Design studio Iris wanted to pick up on this very signature feature of Starbucks stores and created a similar and striking ad. If you want to visit a retail store, it’s an opportunity to force the wearing of markings because it is compulsory in the UK.

Starbucks uploads a picture on Instagram where we see a cup of Starbucks and the place where your name should be, its written ‘Mmphfffh.’

A study by Muse by Clio notes that Eli Vasiliou, the creative director associate of Iris who popped up with the commercial, said, “The mask commercial was innovative and proactive, rather than in reaction to a customer brief. With masks being mandatory in UK shops and cafes, and mask / no-mask discussions trending on social media, we saw Starbucks as an opportunity. Also, positional awareness mask-wearing as an altruistic act but also simply removing the heat from the matter.

Customers visiting Starbucks love their names written on their cups and it’s a big thing for them. She added, “Names on the cup is a very crucial thing at Starbucks it just happened to me how much trickier life suddenly is for baristas. They had no chance! That idea made me laugh. So, we worked it up as a little social post for Instagram and Facebook from Starbucks. The customer loved it and signed it off, and that was it.”

The celebrities and influencers in India are joining the #StarBucksDance Challenge which was launched a few days back on Instagram and you can join it too and win a chance to get Starbucks coffee for a year for free.
