Godrej Expert Rich Crème has collaborated with Karan Johar for launching a video campaign.
A grooming wish from Bollywood’s producer and director, Karan Johar, on Instagram has become the best opportunity for Godrej Expert Rich Crème hair colour to launch an influencer campaign.
Karan Johar,48, posted a picture of himself in an unseen grey hair look and announced he is available for doing fatherly roles. He never tried hair colouring at home. This was the perfect timing for Godrej Expert Rich Crème and they collaborated with Karan Johar to create and build an honest piece of communication wherein the video, he is seen colouring his hair using their brand product.
Sunil Kataria, Chief Executive, Godrej- India and SAARC Consumer Products Ltd(GCPL), said through their recent digital campaign with Karan Johar, they wanted to convey the message on the simplicity of colouring hair at home.
He also added, “ Regular hair colour users have often been neglecting hair care because they are staying home with no social or formal commitments. Moreover, there are many people who are unsure about how to colour their hair at home. We wanted to give a little nudge to people to colour their hair and highlight the easiness of the whole process. Karan, showing himself in the video by colouring his grey hair at home. It was a strong conviction to emphasize hair colouring even when people stay indoors and how it is easy for everyone to do the hair colouring process.
In the video where Karan Johar used Anushka Sharma’s hair colour, generated 5.05 million views just within two days across social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
The official brand ambassador for Godrej Expert Rich Crème, Anushka Sharma, also joined the campaign and shared a post on Instagram appreciating Karan Johar’s look. GCPL owned hair care and colouring brand, Bblunt India also has been actively posting Instagram live with founder and creative director, Adhuna Bhabani on many hair care and styling tips along with industry experts such as Bina Punjani, Aalim Hakim and Coleen Khan.
