goEgoNetwork launches its first Fast Charge Park in Bengaluru

November 10, 2022: Inching closer to its motto to shift India’s mobility dependence from Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) to greener, sustainable electric vehicles, goEgoNetwork – India’s leading EV charging solutions providing company has recently entered a strategic partnership with Bengaluru-based SRIT India Pvt. Ltd., formerly Sobha Renaissance Information Technology Pvt. Ltd., to set up its first fast charge park in Bengaluru at ITPL Main Road, Kundalahalli, Brooke Field, Bengaluru, Karnataka.  
Interestingly the development comes at a time wherein the demand for EV charging infrastructure is on the rise in Karnataka. Reportedly, while delivering his speech on the occasion of India’s 76th Independence Day, V Sunil Kumar, District-in-Charge Minister spoke about Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation’s (KPTCL) plans to set up 79 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
As part of expanding its reach in Karnataka’s developing EV-charging market, under the guided approach of SRIT, goEgoNetwork is poised to set up at least 500-1000 charging stations across Karnataka in 1 year.  
Notably, the 24×7 state-of-the-art charge park in Bengaluru will be equipped with one unit each of goEgoNetwork’s Pelican Pro (60 kW), Pelican (15 kW – GBT), Eagle, and Albatross to ensure efficient and fast charging of all types of EVs including two, three and four­-wheelers. The Charging Park is equipped with goEgoNetwork’s Pelican EV charging station that has a powerful capacity of 60kW. With this charging station, 4-wheeler EV owners can charge their EVs to 80% in just 45-60 minutes and can enjoy a full charge in just 90-120 minutes depending on the size of the battery.

The newest charge park catapults the company close to its ambitious journey towards enabling 2 million members to adopt zero-emission mobility. The charging park will support the charging of EVs of all makes currently available in the Indian market. goEgoNetwork has close to two thousand members on its network and gets up to 50 charging sessions per day. Using the goME app, one can enjoy a seamless charging experience with real-time notifications about the EV’s charging status while the vehicle’s owner can relax and rejuvenate at the shopping bay within the premises.
