The Indian edition of the American monthly men’s magazine GQ presented a list of 30 influential young Indians. The event took place at JW Marriott, Mumbai, in association with Glenlivet Glassware on 29th April, 2022, and the event was supported by Jimmy’s cocktails, Uncle Tony and Volvo.
The list consists of people who not only represent the optimistic and youthful population of India but also display a new change in their fields. The influencers were selected from every field and profession like entrepreneurship, business, fashion, media, design, food and drink, entertainment, sports, etc.
The show was hosted by high-spirited and joyful Ramona Arena, and it began with a conversation between Che Kurrien, GQ India’s Editorial Content Head, and a professional writer and columnist Chetan Bhagat, who is known for his iconic novels which are based on social issues of modern India, youths and their aspirations. His novels Half Girlfriend, 2 states, Girl in Room 105 are the best sellers of all time.
GQ India’s Editorial Content Head Che Kurrien said that this is a huge platform for the creators, disruptors, and innovators of the new and upcoming generation. He also compared them to engines that will power our county’s trajectory. And added that these influencers come from various fields and professions.
The event was enchanted and fascinated by the performance of singer and songwriter Prateek Kuhad who is well known for his works namely Kasoor and cold/mess. He also released his brand new track at the event.
