To support the Indian Bartending Talent on a global platform, HOC onboards Singapore Tourism Boards for 8 talented winners to be awarded a trip to Singapore
India, Spetmeber 2022 – Entering into its fourth edition, Grey Goose’s House of Change is a program of a specially curated multi-faceted series that focuses on providing expertise to bartenders to help them go beyond their bartending skill-set. The program aims to set them on a journey to discover a clear, defined, and purposeful career in mixology.
In its effort to support and give back to the community that has been supporting the brand for so long, Grey Goose is all set to revisit another series of scouting and supporting India’s Behind-the-Bar talent. With its fourth edition on the horizon, the ever-evolving House of Change program by Grey Goose is collaborating with The Singapore Tourism Board, creating an experience that exposes India’s mixology talent on a global scale.
On commencing the fourth edition, Adtnu Tiwari, Senior Brand Manager, Premium White Spirits, Bacardi India Private Ltd., says, “Grey Goose’s House of Change initiative has come a long way. From a nascent stage to now entering its fourth edition, the program focuses on providing value to the mixology community by strengthening their foundational skills. We aim to propel, encourage, and inspire the creative geniuses behind the bar by setting forth an engaging series of experiences and providing a platform for emerging mixologists. With The Singapore Tourism Board coming on board as a collaborator, the experience will surely be elevated.”
Singapore, known for its lifestyle, events and entertainment scene, was a natural choice for this partnership as it is a treasure trove of vibrant bar and cocktail cultures. The city boasts of some of the top tier bars that have been on the list of Asia’s 50 best bars. The partnership with Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has scaled up this year’s volume, making it bigger than before. With some of the best bars in India enrolling for the program, House of Change will appoint mentors across the bar industry that specialise in the trade of Entrepreneurship, Content Creation, Grooming and Styling, Travel and Luxury.
These mentors will impart a few tricks of the trade via masterclasses and training sessions. The second phase of the program will further witness a filtration of the candidates through observation of skill sets acquired during the masterclass. Finally, a selection of 8 bartenders will travel to Singapore and be at the receiving end of training and masterclasses by the choicest mentors in the industry.
Speaking on being a part of the House Of Change 2022 programme, GB Srithar, Regional Director, India, Middle East, South Asia and Africa of Singapore Tourism Board, said, “Singapore’s reputation for its vibrant and eclectic bar and cocktail culture has been growing and many travellers are able to enjoy the diversity in lifestyle experiences. Home to some unique speakeasy cocktail bars, boutique beer stalls and high-end lounges, 12 of Asia’s 50 Best Bars are in Singapore. We are excited to partner with Grey Goose in its House of Change initiative as this resonates with our brand identity of ‘Passion Made Possible’, fuelling the passions of some of India’s best bartenders with a Singapore connection.”
The fourth edition of House of Change aims to grow and encourage more mixologists to put their best foot forward and realise their creative potential and dreams. #HouseOfChange #GreyGoose
