Hamleys, the world’s greatest toy store and India’s largest toy retailer for children, today unveiled the Top 10 Toys for Christmas 2021, the first time this selection has been shown in India.
On December 9th, 2021, actor and mom Neha Dhupia unveiled the much-anticipated list of the season’s most exciting toys at the world’s first Hamleys Play Store at Jio World Drive BKC, amidst a wonderful, Christmas party for top mommy influencers and their children.
Surrounded by Santa and his elves, Neha and renowned mommy influencer Simone Khambatta introduced the most wanted toys of the holiday season, which are sure to spark children’s imaginations and make playtime more fun.
Neha had a lot of pleasure ripping up the Top 10 Christmas Toys one by one, and she was overjoyed to discover each one of these one-of-a-kind gifts. She also spent time with the children who had been invited to the occasion.
Teejay Sidhu, an RJ and TV personality, was in attendance, as were other well-known mom influencers like Shradha Virani (The Diaper Drama), Yuvika Abrol, and others. AI-enabled learning gadgets, dollhouses for immersive play, and reversible plush toys amongst other products are the top trends of the season.
The super-learning Robo MIKO, the Pioneer Drone, the Hi-Life Playful Furnished Dollhouse, and the Infiniti Hoverboard are all among the must-haves for the holiday season, combining brilliant Edu-tech and fantasy to build, role-play, and create.
Given that children have spent the majority of the last two years indoors, interacting with virtual platforms and screens, this Christmas collection emphasizes in-person role play and creativity, allowing children to construct imaginary worlds and rediscover the magic of Christmas. This season’s top trends are AI-enabled learning devices and dollhouses for children.
The event was conducted at Hamley Play Store, a new hot spot for kids that recently debuted at Jio World Mall BKC in Mumbai. Kinjal Shah, Group Vice-President of Hamleys India, said of the decision to offer the toys at the play store, “Hamleys – The Finest Toy Shop in the World, in India, has come to be renowned as a trendsetter for all new experiences to look out for children.”
The brand sees a lot of promise in India’s diversified market, and it expects to open 100+ outlets in the coming year, to reach 250 stores by March 2023. This year was a landmark year for us since our brand new concept shop Hamleys Play – which focuses on the fun and play concept – opened its first location in the world at Jio World Drive in Mumbai. Based on the response to the new concept, we are on track to accomplish our objectives.
