Amritsar based eBike start-up, by Irfan Khan, eBikeGO on Tuesday said it has roped in Harbhajan Singh, the Indian Bowler as it’s Brand Ambassador.

The brand is in a plan to create mass appeal, optimistic voice, and widespread electric mobility with a view to capturing 10 percent of the market share of electric two-wheelers by 2022. This plan has come in association with the government’s new EV policy.

In an interview, Harbhajan Singh stated, “EBikeGO is a new-age transport companion and its efforts in the field of a safe and green daily commute are truly admirable. I see this partnership as a fantastic opportunity and as my own way of contributing to sustainable mobility in our country and a healthier world. In India, days of lockdown have led to a dramatic decrease in emission rates. People from Jalandhar were able to see the Himalayas for the first time in 30 years and my vision is that this is our future too”

When asked Irfan Khan, the founder, and CEO of the eBikeGO, he added, “Harbhajan has always been a symbol of youth, and his popularity cuts through age groups. We are excited to work with him, as his style suits the brand well. His environmental issues, his go-getter mentality, and his remarkable ability to deliver all-round success resonate strongly with our brand. We are in the midst of scaling up our activities and aiming to win 10 percent of the two-wheeler electric market by 2022. We assume that at such a crucial juncture our partnership with Harbhajan will play a major role in helping to accomplish the goal of bringing e-mobility to the masses.”
