Feb 7, 2013: Iconic bike makers Harley- Davidson after their debut with cafe in Las Vegas according to reports is planning to open their second cafe in Pune. The report which was declined by the Managing Director of Harley-Davidson India, 
Anoop Prakash also says that the company might open cafes in other cities like Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai etc. The cafe in Las Vegas is very huge in size and can accommodate 1400 guests at a time. It even has a wedding chapel inside. The Harley-Davidson cafe in Las Vegas has got over 15 custom motorcycles and a USD500,000 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail burst on display. It is not confirmed yet if the cafe which is speculated to come up in Pune will be of this size.
It is expected that Harley-Davidson cafe in Pune will be selling Harley T-shirts, jackets, bandanas etc. like what is being sold in Las Vegas besides fast food and beverages. The company expects the chain of cafes to be another source of revenue and also as a marketing tool. Harley-Davidson is expecting a growth of 25-30 per cent in India over the next five years.
